This Election is Not a Soap Opera or a Football Game: It is About the Future of Our Country


I just read an article in Fortune talking about how the Washington Post has expressed its indebtedness to it's Kaplan testing company for providing it with the money to do its investigative reporting. The Republicans have successfully painted "the media" as evil, and the corporations responded by decimating their news divisions and being afraid to speak truth to power.



News should not be left to bloggers and Comedy Central. The country is too important to let it slip into the hands of an angry elderly man and his anti-intellectual running mate.
